The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, September 16 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will refuse to support Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) scheme.
Also coming up, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will try to talk Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) into flying to Paris. Plus, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will have bad timing. And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will argue with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Y&R spoilers tease Kyle will admit he’s trying to fix things, but all he does is mess up. Then he’ll say he has the perfect solution. “Let’s take a trip,” he’ll suggest. They should go to Paris, tonight. Claire will say she’s tempted but it feels like running away from their problems instead of facing them.
So, Kyle will tell her they won’t be running away, they’ll be running towards a stronger relationship. Claire will say she can’t go. She’s about to start her new job at Newman Publishing. Plus, she wants to be around for her mom.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Holden Apologizes To Them For Overstepping
“Is this what you do when there’s a problem?” Claire will ask. “You think if you just dangle the right shiny object in front of me I’ll just forget and move on, but I can’t.” Kyle will ask how he can make it right, he’ll do anything. Then Holden will walk in.
Holden will say he’s glad he ran into them and apologize for overstepping. “You haven’t done anything that comes close to overstepping,” Claire will reply. “Has he Kyle?” Kyle will admit maybe he overreacted. “I get it, I’d do the same thing if I had a woman as amazing as Claire in my life,” Holden will reply.
He’ll add he’s heading to LA for a while because he’s working for Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). He’ll be closing up offices since they’re all moving to Genoa City. “I’m glad you’re sticking around,” Claire will tell him. She’ll get up to call her mom and Holden will ask Kyle if they’re good. “Not even close,” he’ll reply. “It was all for show. So no, we’re not good, we never will be.”
At Society, Adam and Chelsea will discuss the canceled Abbott Communications launch. Adam will say he’s sure Billy’s trying to micromanage Sally. However, Chelsea will tell him Sally’s not going to let Billy walk all over her.
Meanwhile, Sally will tell Billy she came back to his place to talk him down. She’ll add his plan is too much risk for her. “You just have to trust me,” he’ll reply. But Sally will say she left Marchetti because they were going to build Abbott Communications together.
Now they don’t even have funding for it, just a sketchy plan. “How do you not see that you could lose everything?” However, Billy will say there’s not a chance it could happen. She’ll say his plan is blackmail and he’ll tell her it’s just business.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sally Tells Chelsea And Adam She’s Out
After all, he’ll only threaten to use the AI software. “For the first time, I’m going after the big man and I’m the one who holds all the cards.” Sally will tell him it could all blow up in his face. But Billy will say it’s his only shot to get everything he ever wanted. Cane already reached out and asked if he’d do it and he said yes. So, he hopes she’ll stick by him.
“I won’t do it!” Sally will shout. She wants Abbott Communications, the company she put her heart and soul into. Billy will tell her to look at the big picture. “The big picture here for you is hatred, and obsession and revenge,” Sally will reply. “And I am nowhere in that picture and I don’t wanna be!”
Sally will storm off and end up at Society, and she’ll run into Chelsea and Adam. Chelsea will ask what’s wrong and Adam will ask if it’s about the Abbott Communications launch. “I’m actually no longer part of the company,” Sally will tell them. She’ll add it wasn’t the career for her.
“Is this about Billy?” Adam will ask. “That ass booted you, didn’t he?” Sally will tell Adam to let it go, it’s over. So, Chelsea and Adam will return to work and Adam will rant about Billy. Not surprisingly Chelsea will say they don’t have any details.
“Why do you always do that?” Adam will ask. Chelsea will continue to defend Billy, saying maybe Sally did walk away. “You always try to find the good in him, but one day you’re gonna realize, there isn’t any,” Adam will reply.
Finally, Billy will call his kids and say he has to postpone the thing he wanted to talk to them about. “Because I don’t think it’s gonna happen anymore.” Then he’ll call Sally and ask if she’s walking away from the business, or from everything. “I don’t know,” she’ll reply.
